Search goal: Find Krystal’s biological father

This is an older search that I had completed back in the beginning of the year, but had missed writing up about. Krystal is related to someone I am currently helping, and was looking to find the identity of her biological father. Her mother had tested, which made splitting the matches into maternal and paternal very easy. She also had been given two names of who her biological father could be.

Krystal’s paternal matches split into two groups and it was easy to see the two distinct paternal groups. She had two paternal matches around the first cousin level, and the matches were full siblings to each other. After a quick bit of Googling, I was able to see that their uncle had the same name as one of the potential biological fathers, and I knew it had to be him. It was a quick search, but both Krystal and her mother are glad to have his identity confirmed.
